Abdul Qudoos, Another Fallen Hero
The unsung fallen hero who lost his life while he was on duty.
Deputy Collector Preventive Abdul Qudoos Sheikh was attacked by ten masked men after he conducted a successful operation where a truckload of smuggled items were discovered and seized. Abdul Qudoos along with inspector Ghulam Hussain Khoso were both forcefully stopped at Ghai Khan Chowk, Sariab road, by a white Vitz and Toyotal Hilux Vigo.
Ten men jumped off the vehicle and surrounded Abdul Qudoos, they injured him badly due to which he was taken to Civil Hospital where he was kept in Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Senior management and fellow colleagues immediately rushed to the hospital and looked after the injured officer, but unfortunately, the brave hero who fought for his life did not survive and passed away last night.
The customs officer and inspector were just honestly doing their duty in Quetta and some smuggler did not like that they were interfering with their business. Hence, they took revenge and laid the hero to rest forever. These are the unsung heroes of our country who are not afraid to fight for the country by doing their jobs in a justly manner. No body sheds light upon them but we make sure to not forget such people who have lost their lives while on duty.
