Aliza Sultan Shares Her Side of The Story With Feroze Khan
On September 2nd, Feroze Khan and Aliza Sultan legally got a divorce and are now in the process of getting child custody. They both share their stories.
On Wednesday, Feroze Khan and his ex-wife Aliza Sultan made public statements announcing their split, with the latter charging the former with cruelty and infidelity. Khan also acknowledged the divorce but declined to comment on the accusations because they were still being addressed in court.
Sultan discussed the problem and showed a snapshot from her notes. She said that their four-year marriage was complete pandemonium. During this time, her spouse, Feroze Khan, also subjected her to ongoing physical and psychological abuse and cheating, blackmail, and degrading treatment. And that after giving it some thought, she came to the tragic realisation that she could not live her entire life in such a horrifying way.
She claimed that the idea of her kids was what ultimately led her to give up. As in the post she mentioned that her children’s welfare and well-being have been a major factor in this decision of hers. And that she didn’t want her kids to develop in an unpleasant, toxic, or violent home environment. Experience in such a dangerous environment would adversely affect their mental growth and way of life.
“No kid should ever have to grow up feeling violence to be a normal part of relationships. I would rather teach them that no wounds are too deep to be healed, no scars too shameful to be concealed at the cost of one’s safety,” she added.
The Ishqiya actor, Feroze Khan, released a statement a few hours following Aliza Sultan. When discussing the specifics of their legal separation, he said, “As a law-abiding citizen of Pakistan I have full confidence in the justice of the Court. Our divorce was finalised on September 2, 2022, after which I filed a family law case asking custody of and visitation rights pertaining to my children Sultan and Fatima in the eighth family judge district, East Karachi on September 19 2022.”
He restricted his post on Instagram to talk about who gets to keep his kids. He continued “Today, on September 21, 2022, the Court heard both parties and allowed me to spend time with my children Sultan and Fatima for half an hour in his [the judge’s] presence. The Court then adjourned the matter till October 1, 2022, on which date it will resume further proceedings related to visitation rights whereby I can continue to meet my children.”
He claimed he can’t talk about it any further and turned to face Sultan. Since she is the mother of his children, he will show his ex-wife respect and support. Since the case is still being heard by the court, he said he is sorry, and that he will be unable to continue this discussion or give further details.
