Another Milestone Achieved For Pakistani Tourism

The continuous prosperity of Pakistani Tourism can be reflected through the various accolades it has received with the latest being an accolade from Forbes.

Pakistani Tourism has undergone a renaissance as of late. The improving situation in terms of security and infrastructure has vastly helped improve Pakistan’s position as a future tourist destination. Some of the accolades that help showcase Pakistan’s improving tourist industry include being awarded by Conde Nast as the best holiday destination for 2020. It was also awarded by British Backpackers Society as having the third best potential of becoming a highly popular adventure destination.

Adding to these lists of accolades, Pakistan was just recently listed as one of the best under the radar destination in 2020 by Forbes Magazine. The magazine cites the statements of Wild Frontiers founder John Bealby, in which he describes Pakistan as being the next big tourist destination in the coming years. The founder also tells the magazine that Pakistan makes for an exciting adventure destination.

The magazine also goes on to state that Pakistan’s rich cultural history and abundance of natural beauty makes it a potentially intriguing place for international tourists to visit. The magazine also states that according to Bealby, the country has some of the best mountainous areas in the world for hiking and trekking. Apart from its rich natural beauty, Bealby also believes that Pakistan’s alluring cultural history makes it an ideal destination for cultural tourism. According to Bealby, from the ruins of the Indus Valley Civilization to the many palaces and mosques in Lahore built by the Mughal Empire, Pakistan offers tourists with a vast array of historical sites for visit.

Other countries that made the list include Algeria, Eritrea, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. The aim of the list was to highlight some of the best underrated destinations in the world that do not get the same hype or attention as the more prominent or popular counterparts. Through this article, Forbes Magazine hopes to persuade tourists to give these unlikely places a visit.
