Anwar Maqsood’s New Web Series ‘Mere Aangan Se’

Anwar Maqsood’s new web series ‘Mere Aangan se’ has started airing, its first episode aired on Wednesday, 25th of November, and the public has a lot to say about it.

Mere Aangan Se is a web series in the form of a talk show written by Anwar Maqsood, starring Anwar Maqsood himself as the host and Yasir Hussain, as a guest who in every episode will dress up and act like different personalities and they’re going to have discussions related to the situation these days, especially about Covid. It’s also set-up in an outdoor space and as Anwar Maqsood himself mentioned in the first episode, it’s to show how everything these days is working out-doors because of this pandemic.

Many people are saying it’s the new version of his legendary show ‘Loose Talk’. In which instead of Yasir Hussain there used to be Moin Akhtar. Different people have different views about it, some think that Yasir Hussain has done a great job and some are saying that no one can replace Moin Akhtar and his top-notch mimicry skills.

However, we’ve just seen the first episode yet and I guess this is too early to say something about it. Let’s just wait and watch how these series will go on.
