Best And Easy Homemade Pizza Recipe

A quick and easy recipe for healthy and homemade pizza.

You can easily made restaurant style pizza at home by following a simple recipe. This homemade pizza recipe is way healthier and it taste good as well.

Without any further ado, let’s get into the ingredients that you’ll be needing to make a scrumptious pizza.

  • 2 cups self-raising flour- maida
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon fine sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk powder
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup luke warm water


Before getting into directions preheat your oven between 450 and 500 degrees F (250 to 260 degrees C)

Directions for Pizza Dough:

  • Sieve self-raising flour/maida thoroughly in a wide bowl, add in all the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  • Crack in the egg in the same bowl of dry ingredients with oil.
  • Start kneading the dough while adding luke warm water. You need to achieve a gooey consistency and by slowly kneading the dough; it should leave the sides and bottom of the bowl.
  • Dough is now ready to rise. In a separate bowl drizzle the bowl with oil and place the dough in it. Cover the bowl with a cloth (Guys please! let’s be eco-friendly and not use plastic cling wraps). Let the dough sit at a warm place for good few hours. At least 60-90 minutes.
  • When ready, the dough should be double the size.
  • Dust the area where you’ll be kneading the dough with self-raising flour, deflate the dough and start kneading until smooth for 3-5 minutes.
  • Use either your hands or a rolling pin to work the dough into 12″ circle.
  • Transfer dough to a parchment paper lined pizza pan and either pinch the edges or fold them over to form a crust.
  • Drizzle additional olive oil (about a Tablespoon) over the top of the pizza and use your pastry brush to brush the entire surface of the pizza (including the crust) with olive oil.
  • Use a fork to poke holes all over the center of the pizza to keep the dough from bubbling up in the oven.
  • Set it aside while you work on other things


Ingredients for Pizza Sauce:pizza recipe - runway pakistan

  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 4 mashed tomatoes
  • 1 and a 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4-5 tablespoons chili garlic ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • oregano for taste and smell



Directions for Pizza Sauce:

  • Heat a pan on stove under medium heat. Add oil and ginger-garlic paste.
  • Add in mashed tomatoes, let it simmer for few minutes or when the water dries out.
  • While stirring the tomato mixtures add in all the other ingredients in the pan. On low-medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • Lastly, add in oregano let it sit for a minute, take the pan off the stove. If you have achieved semi-thick paste like consistency then your sauce is ready.



Ingredients for chicken/beef marination:pizza recipe - runway pakistan

  • 1 chicken breast piece or half a kg boneless chicken/beef
  • 3 tablespoons of chicken tikka masala
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup oil




Directions for Chicken/Beef:

  • Mix all the ingredients except oil in bowl and add chicken/beef. Marinate the meat for 25-30 minutes in refrigerator.
  • Heat oil in pan over medium-heat, add in the meat. Cover the pan and let it cook thoroughly.
  • Remove the pan from the stove when the meat is cooked properly and have changed its color. Set it aside


For Pizza Toppings:
(this may vary form person to person- you in case you want some pineapple on your pizza)

  • Grated cheddar cheese (amount depends on how much of a cheese lover you are)
  • Mozzarella cheese (again, amount depends on how much of a cheese lover you are)
  • 2 julienne cut capsicum
  • 2 julienne cut tomatoes
  • 2 julienne cut onions
  • Olives (chopped)


  • Now that you are done with everything, start putting together the pizza. Spread the sauce on the base.
  • Throw on all the toppings and meat on base (save some cheese to top the pizza off)
  • Make sure your oven is preheated properly. Place your pizza in the oven (careful not to burn yourself). 
  • Set the timer fro 20-25 minutes, or when the crust leaves the pan (you can wait for few minutes more to make the crust crispy like)

When the timer is done, take this master piece out and enjoy the deliciousness to your heart’s content.
