Saddar police in Gujrat have informed that three suspects had been caught. They had been recognised after they were seen leaving the car in which Constable Hassan Shahzad was injured during the recording of a TikTok video.
After the Shahzad was found in the car by Saddar Police, he was taken to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital, where he died. The police used his mobile phone to collect the calling data and tracked the three suspects, one of whom was recording the video on TikTok.
Out of the three suspects, Laiba Zahid and Raeesa Javed had been studying at University of Gujrat. The third was a close friend of Shahzad, Muhammad Waleed. Both Waleed and Shahzad belonged to Bhagowal village.

On their way back to the campus, one of the girls took Shahzad’s pistol and started making a video on Tiktok. Even though the Constable tried to stop her, the girl continued playing with the weapon during which it went off and a bullet hit Shahzad in the head.
Saddar police registered a case under sections 302 and 34 of Pakistan Penal Code on the report of Muhammad Afzal, the father of constable Shahzad, and started an investigation.
