Mahoor Shahzad ranked 138, becomes first Pakistani female player to get in Top 140

Who is Mahoor Shahzad?
Mahoor Shahzad, an IBA Graduate, was the champion of women’s singles at the 2017 Pakistan International tournament, and has competed at the 2014 Asian Games. IBA university awards special “Excellence of Sport Award” to Pakistan Badminton No 1 Player Mahoor Shehzad at IBA Convocation 2018.
Furthermore, Mahoor performed stunningly in the final of Yonex Sunrise Pakistan International Series 2019 to win the women singles title. She is the only Pakistani amongst the 20 players selected from Asia to be a part of the program that prepares potential players for the Olympics. She also won Annapurna Post International Corporate Badmintion 2018 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Moreover, she recently played at the Kenya International 2020, where both Mahoor and Palwasha Bashir won silver medals for their sensational performances. Mahoor and Palwasha secured the Bronze medal in the Women Doubles in the Uganda International Badminton Tournament 2020.
