Escalations in the US-Iran Crisis

There have been some advancements to the US-Iran issue, which rose up after the killing of Qassem Soleimani.

Us Killed Qasem Sulemani on 3rd Jan 2020. The killing of Soleimani not only shook Iran, but has also tensed other countries. But no country is as tensed as the United States its self. Iran’s Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif, wanted to visit United Nations. The visa was declined by the United States of America. As ironic as it can be, the Americans deny of having complete hold over UN. However, according to an agreement signed back in 1947, Washington can deny visa over “security, terrorism and foreign policy” issues. The United Nations, which should have been working with an unbiased thought, for what it was originally made, cancelled out on Zarif.

On the contrary, US also has started making major blunders in their policies with Iraq. With Donald Trump tweeting and posting each and every thing on social media, he is trying to show how strong he is. However, he is just making a fool out of himself.

US Forces leaving Iraq apparently.
A Letter to Iraq by US:

Moreover, the letter that was sent out to Iraq by the US, was claimed to be sent by ‘mistake’. The ‘mistake’ told that the troops will be pulled out peacefully from Iraq. Nevertheless, it was shocking and unbelievable. And while people were trying to accept it, an apology came from US. “It was a mistake, an honest mistake, a draft unsigned letter, because we are moving forces around,” Milley told reporters in Washington. So all in all, the US isn’t moving their troops out from Iraq, for now.

There were several mourners at Soleimani’s funeral. It seems like whole of Iran, as well as Iraq, seeks revenge from America. It is yet to see how far do they go for it.
