Etihad Airways Resumes Outbound Flights from Pakistan
Etihad Airways resume their operations in Pakistan, as they resume outbound flights from both Karachi and Lahore on June 13. It is bound to start operations in Islamabad soon as well.
Etihad Airways resume their operations in Pakistan, as they resume outbound flights from both Karachi and Lahore on June 13. It is bound to start operations in Islamabad soon as well.
While the airlines cannot bring passengers in an inbound flight due to the restrictions set by the government, they can take stranded people out in an outbound flight.
Etihad Airways had suspended flights to and fro Pakistan when a government ban on commercial flights was imposed on March 21 to curb the spread of Covid-19. Pakistan had suspended international flight operations on March 21 for two weeks, which later extended to May 31.
Etihad Airways’ website has the following update
Until June 30, 2020, we’ll be operating a number of flights between Abu Dhabi and destinations around the world.
In July, we’re planning to operate flights to over 40 worldwide destinations. We continue to work closely with the UAE Government and Global Aviation Authorities to ensure we keep you connected the best we can.

Due to government restrictions across our network, you will be required to check in your cabin baggage before you fly. You will only be permitted to carry a personal item on board, such as a handbag, backpack or laptop bag. This can weigh up to 5kg.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our lounges in Abu Dhabi are closed. We will reopen them as soon as we can.
