Fans Are Boycotting Money Heist After The Cast Praise Israel
Money Heist is also known as La Casa De Papel is back with season 5 but many fans aren't happy with their pre-release interview on an Israeli channel.
Money Heist, also known as La Casa De Papel, is getting negative reviews and bad ratings from several fans after the cast goes for an interview on Israel’s Channel 12 and speaks highly of Israel.
Before the release of season 5 volume 1 of the Money Heist series, the cast went on an interview in Israel where they praised Israel several times. Activists even criticized the show for benefiting from Palestinians suffering and making it entertaining.
Darko Peric, who plays Helsinki in the Money Heist, said “It was a marvelous experience and I hope to come back again. I know that there are a lot of fans here, and the people here are great. When people travel to Israel, they always talk about strict security and police measures, but when I arrived here even the police wanted to take pictures with me. It was great!”
Hovik Keuchkerian, known as Bogota in Money Heist, praised an Israeli drama with a storyline of an undercover unit where they carry out missions in occupied Palestine dressed as Arabs. He also said he would love to visit Israel and have heard amazing things about it.
Fans even called out Alba Flores, Nairobi from Money Heist, for supporting Israel when before she spoke up against Israel and in support of Palestine during Israel aggression. She even wrote, “There is no justification for the massacre. All our support for the Palestinian people. #PalestineUnderAttack #FreePalestine.”
But this is not all, Jaime Lorente aka Denver in Money Heist also praised the country on their visit to Israel in 2019 saying he agreed to come to Israel right away when asked as he has heard a lot about the amazing nightlife and the delicious food.
On Twitter, fans started calling out the cast of Money Heist.

Fans even started giving negative reviews and bad ratings on IMDB in hopes that this will affect the production and views. Even on Instagram, several activists and fans have asked others not to view the show and support Palestinians.
