Field Hospital in Expo Center Lahore
Chief Minister Punjab, Usman Buzdar, successfully set up a field hospital in Lahore's Expo Center, for Coronavirus patients within 9 days.
A Field Hospital has been set up with a 1000 beds in Lahore’s Expo Center, to accommodate the Corona positive patients. The Punjab government has successfully set up this project in a very short time frame of 9 days.

The field hospital has been set up for solely serving the purpose of coronavirus, to isolate and treat confirmed patients of the coronavirus in a safe and secure environment. This was a necessary step taken due to the emerging cases of Coronavirus patients.
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid has coordinated setting up Triage Center at the Expo Center Field Hospital. She gave these directions during her visit on Tuesday. During the visit, she expressed her perspectives on the event, Dr. Yasmin Rashid said the best clinical offices are being built up at the Expo Center.
A Triage Center will serve as the point for where patients are prioritized for various areas depending on the seriousness of indications and conditions in crises. The Government has set up a field hospital at the Expo Center where emergency arrangements have been made for COVID-19 (coronavirus) patients.
Last month, The Sindh government, too, set up a field hospital to aid the emerging cases of Coronavirus patients with the help of the Pakistan Army.
There are 2,039 confirmed cases in Pakistan and 82 have recovered, while the death toll stands at 26 as of 1st April 2020 10;03 Am. Punjab has the highest number of infections up to 708 followed by Sindh with 676 patients. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) reported 253 cases, 158 in Balochistan, 184 in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), 54 in Islamabad and six in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
