Former Amir, Jamaat-e-Islami, Syed Munawar Hasan would be badly missed. He was perhaps the last most vocal leader of JI after Qazi Hussain Ahmad. He was not only excellent speaker but i always enjoyed his wit. May Allah give his family strength to bear the loss.

I remember the last speech Syed Munawar Hasan gave at the end of the campaign of 2013 elections. He said "When we'll come into power, people won't find anyone to give theirs Zakat to"
He ended up losing that elections. Today, he has left us.— Mohammed Saad (@hafizsaadriaz) June 26, 2020
May he rest in peace. https://t.co/EYwlxWp1xT
