Further Details About Arshad Sharif’s Death In Kenya Come Out

In Kenya, the autopsy of Arshad Sharif has been completed. The government is working to return his body to Pakistan as soon as possible. He was murdered.

Arshad Sharif, a senior journalist, underwent a postmortem, and plans are being made to send his body to Pakistan.

Sharif was travelling from Kenya’s Magadi town to Nairobi on Sunday night when he was fatally shot by Kenyan police in a “mistaken identity” case.

According to diplomatic sources, Nairobi hosted the postmortem for the journalist. The body of the murdered journalist is currently being prepared for transit to Pakistan.

According to other diplomatic sources, attempts are being undertaken to move the body as soon as possible to Pakistan so that his final rites may be carried out.

The remains of the murdered journalist will be transported to Pakistan on Tuesday, according to family relatives, who also stated that he will be buried in Islamabad’s H11 cemetery on Thursday.

When police were looking for a stolen car when they shot at the journalist’s car randomly thinking it was a stolen car, Sharif was killed. According to a police complaint from Kenya, the vehicle rushed through a guarded barricade without halting, raising suspicions that a child was inside.

According to the Pakistani Foreign Office, the government is actively coordinating at various levels with the Kenyan authorities for the swift repatriation of Sharif’s lifeless remains.

Pakistan has also formally requested that Kenya look into the event.

In order to emphasise the significance of the situation, acting foreign secretary Raza Bashir Tarar also met with the Kenyan High Commissioner in Islamabad.

Tarar also gave a briefing on the developments to the distinguished members of the National Assembly Foreign Relations Committee.
