Is it The Taliban or the Afghan Government Themselves

The Taliban, being one of the most notorious terrorist organization, has been blamed for all the wrongdoings in Afghanistan, but what if it wasn't them lately?

In the past few years, the Taliban have tried to come in talks with the US. The last successful talks took place in Doha, where there were several points that the Taliban put forward. Most of them were accepted although the Afghan Government refused to let go of around 500 prisoners. If they would have, it would be a sign towards a peaceful Afghanistan Government and Nation. But why would the Afghan Government not want peace?

As for now, the Taliban and the US are in talks, but the US has told the government that they won’t leave completely until the Taliban and Afghan Government don’t come on one single page. If they don’t, the aids and funds from the US to the Afghan Government won’t stop. Ashraf Ghani is quite busy earning out of the funds, as we don’t see any developments in Afghanistan. Regardless of the fact that the developments are economic, social, or even political. Recently, the Afghan Government said that the Taliban have killed 291 Afghan Taliban in the last week. However, it seems quite absurd for the Taliban to bring a hindrance to a deal where their own people, own leaders are about to be released.

Afghan

It seems more like a party that doesn’t want Afghanistan to be peaceful at the moment. However, it is only the Afghan Government that will earn a huge profit out of all the trading that will take place through Afghanistan, if it is peaceful. Who doesn’t want peace in Afghanistan is more important of a question rather than if there is peace in Afghanistan or not.
