This was the fifth attack in the past two weeks. Just this time, on a research center as well as a military base in the city of Aleppo which was thwarted. The Syrian army assesses the damage caused by these raids while the Israeli army hit military barracks in al Safirah in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Israel previously also struck many research facilities lead by the military where chemical and biological weapons were said to be stored.
Israeli helicopters fired several rockets from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. They were fired on targets inside southern Syria.
