Jamal Khashoggi: A forgotten Story
Mr. Jamal Khashoggi's murder is a story with a lot of twists. Here is another one.
On 2nd October, 2018, Mr. Jamal Khashoggi disappeared from Saudi Consulate in Istanbul, with no whereabouts of him. Teams were formulated and gave their statement, where they formulated that Jamal Khashoggi’s body was dismembered after given a lethal injection, all inside the consulate. It was also highlighted that this was done on the orders of ‘ Higher Officials ‘ of the Saudi Government, no names were to be taken as such.
Now there is a new development in the story after a long period of time. According to Al-Jazeera, the parts of Jamal Khashoggi’s body was burned in a large furnace built in the Saudi Consulate’s home, where the body was taken after being mutilated. The burning, that took three days, was covered by burning animal meat so that the traces could be removed of any act related to Khashoggi’s murder.
Still the things are quite unknown to people, and no final report has been yet provided as, to who murdered Khashoggi and who was behind this assassination. According to CIA reports, MBS had ordered the killing but Saudi government denies this accusation. Let’s see, what results in this case.
