Jennifer Lopez & Alex Rodriguez’s Wedding on Hold
Jennifer Lopez reveals in a remote interview with Ellen DeGeneres that she's in no rush to get married and will see how the next few months unfold.
Jennifer Lopez, many of you might know her as JLo, who has sung many songs and starred in movies. She had been engaged to Alex Rodriguez and was planning to marry him in the coming months, However, Jennifer revealed in a remote interview with Ellen DeGeneres that the COVID-19 has affected her wedding plan. This means we won’t be seeing JLo wearing a white dress and walking down the aisle, not even on zoom!
Ellen DeGeneres inquires about her wedding plans and preps to which she replies:
“So, we will see what happens now. Honestly, I really don’t know what’s going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that. We’re just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. So, again, it’s something we’re just going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out.”
Ellen has always been the type that asks such questions. She asks the celebrities what the audience wants to hear and she always chooses the right time to do so. And surprisingly, a majority of the celebs actually reveal a lot of undisclosed matters on her show.
JLo further said:
“I said, ‘If we’re going to be together for the rest of our lives, what is the rush? If that’s what we’re really going to do, if we’re really going to be partners, if we’re really going to try to build something together that we both never had or never felt like we had, which is a family with a husband and a wife, and a mother and father, and we embrace all our children. We show them it’s something that we didn’t have.”
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have been engaged since last March. At the end of February, Alex revealed that they aren’t in a rush while speaking to Oprah. Jennifer got married three times before this. Hence, she mentioned that she’s in no rush and will be taking things slowly. However, most of her fans were somewhat expecting a zoom wedding considering the current situation.
