Junaid Khan And Mansha Pasha Trolled Online For Their Actions
Like always, celebs in our country are yet again victims of relentless online trolling. The latest victims of this are Junaid Khan and Mansha Pasha.
A day doesn’t go by when a Pakistani celebrity is not trolled online for something absolutely miniscule. Regardless of the reason, they are always at the receiving end of abuses from our highly sensitive masses.
The latest victims of this online trolling are Junaid Khan and Mansha Pasha. Both celebrities recently took part in the 19th edition of the Pantene Hum Bridal Couture Week. They were there to promote their latest movie “Kahay Dil Jidhar”.
As the two walked the ramp hand in hand, Khan lifted up Pasha in good fun. While the audiences in attendance were amused by the gesture, the masses not so much.
Many criticized the gesture for being nothing but cheap publicity. Others were even more brutal in their response and claimed that both were spreading “immorality”. Some even went further and hurled abusive language towards Junaid Khan and Mansha Pasha.
Unfortunately, instances such as this are so common that it no longer surprises the celebs themselves. While some have gotten use to it, others have taken a frim stance against what they believe is “online moral policing”.
Couple of months ago, Mansha Pasha came out strongly against this sort of online policing. She said that people should stop judging others based on the clothes they wear. The comments came out in response to the barrage of abuses actresses received for the dresses they wore during the Lux Style Awards.
While the response was spot on, it hasn’t done much to change people’s online behavior. It will take a while before Pakistanis finally embrace the concept of minding their own business.
