Kaghan Blocked Due to Excessive Snow
Even though it is peak tourist season, the roads to Kaghan Valley and Shogran Resort are blocked due to the failure to remove excessive snowfall.
Residents and tourists have complained to the authorities about the roads leading to Kaghan Valley, Shogran Resort being blocked due to excessive snow. The management was unable to clear the passage even after days of delay.
The Mansehra-Naran-Jalkhad Road was blocked during the recent snowfall in the valley suspending traffic between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. With several people stranded in the upper parts of the Kaghan Valley, they demanded authorities to clear the excessive snow and reopen passages.
