Lili Reinhart has taken to social media to highlight her issue with Kim Kardashian’s weight loss comment.
At the Met Gala red carpet, Kim Kardashian wore a stylish and stunning Marilyn Monroe dress. During an interview with Vogue, she claimed that she “starved herself” in order to fit into the dress.
Lili Reinhart, who has often talked at great lengths about her body dysmorphia in the past, took issue to her comments.
The “Riverdale” starlet took to Instagram to criticize Kim Kardashian’s weight loss comment.
Lili Reinhart had said that the comments are highly “disgusting”. She highlighted how it was ignorant of her to make such a remark considering she has millions of followers.
The actress believes that this sort of comment helps encourage harmful behavior amongst young boys and girls.
Lili Reinhart further went on to say that people should stop supporting such “stupid and harmful celebrities”. She further went on to describe her frustration with the “toxicity of the industry”.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time Kim Kardashian has made such controversial remarks about weight loss.
In 2019, during the red carpet event of that year’s Met Gala, she also talked about how she took “breathing lesson” to ensure she has a tiny waist so she can fit into a Theirry Mugler dress.
