An unsent love letter to the lost loved one, a plea from the heart of yearning lover for one last glimpse of their dearest.
An unsent love letter sits in my drawer, it has the post stamp and the address, it could even be sealed again if needed. But it stays in my drawer because it will get returned, no the address is not incorrect instead its the recipient’s name. Though her name is correct, she’s just no longer there. No longer there in the house, no longer where she used to be, just no longer alive. Here’s my yearning love letter to the one I lost.

I stopped asking… I stopped searching for love in different people.
I’m a statue of mistakes they tell me, they say I sometimes learn from them and sometimes I repeat them again and again, blindly.
My quest for love has ended now, maybe my habitual persistence of making mistakes like a string of melodies I keep playing on repeat
Not once does the tune stops, it goes on. On a loop for days and weeks and months and eternity
But not anymore! I’ve changed it all I promise Rose!
