“This is the character that an actor would give an arm and a leg for but do not charge even a nominal fee is very gracious of Nawaz,” Nandita Das said in a statement.
Besides Nawazuddin Siddiqi, other members of the cast also did not charge a dime for the roles they have played in the movie. This includes Rishi Kapoor, Ranvir Shorey, and Javed Akhter.
