Midnight Sun, Twilight Prequel to Release Soon

Stephenie Meyer has given what all of her Twilight fans want. For them, this is the best news she can give amidst these challenging times. The author of Twilight has announced her fifth book named Midnight Sun, which will be released on August 4. The twist is that this time, the book will be written from Edward Cullen’s perspective.

Midnight Sun will hit the shelves 15 years after the first book was released. Stephenie has sold over 100 million copies of her Twilight series and fans just couldn’t get enough of it. She had plans of writing Midnight Sun but had abandoned the idea after parts of it were leaked online. However, now it’s confirmed that fans will receive an insight into Edward’s mind.

Stephenie Meyer made the announcement while on ABC’s Good Morning America show:

“My name is Stephenie Meyer and I am very excited to finally announce the release of Midnight Sun on August 4. It’s a crazy time right now, and I wasn’t sure if this was the right time to put this book out, but some of you have been waiting for just so, so long. It didn’t seem fair to make you wait anymore.”

Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn became so popular that they were made into movies starting from 2008. Each movie was a hit just like each book and the whole series was widely watched by fans from around the world. Not sure if Midnight Sun will be made into a movie or not but you’ll definitely get to read it from August 4.
