PM Imran Khan Wants to Air Yunus Emre After Ertrugrul
Now, after Ertrugrul finishes airing on PTV, PM Imran Khan has another suggestion for the television network: air Yunus Emre: Aşkin Yolculuğu.
Over the past few weeks, Turkish drama Ertrugrul has gained quite a fan following in Pakistan; this is especially because our Prime Minister recommended it to be aired on PTV. Now, after Ertrugrul finishes airing on PTV, PM Imran Khan has another suggestion for the television network: air Yunus Emre: Aşkin Yolculuğu.

Senator Faisal Javed Khan revealed the Prime Minister’s interest in the Turkish drama over Twitter.
“Yunus Emre (the Dervish) was an Islamic poet, a mystic & a poor villager. Story of a great Sufi wholly dedicated to ALLAH & searching for unity. Yet another hit created by Mehmet Bozdag is a Journey of Transformation. Yunus Emre was well versed in mystical philosophy, esp that of the 13th-century poet and mystic Jalaluddin Rumi.”
