Nimra Bucha Has Been Cast in Ms. Marvel

By the beginning of October, Disney+ announced the release of Ms. Marvel, and Iman Vellani, a Pakistani-American Muslim character, as their lead role, Ms. Marvel. In recent news, we have discovered the Pakistani actress, Nimra Bucha, will be cast in Ms. Marvel!

Nimra Bucha has given us one spectacular performance after another, with her amazing role in Churails as Batool, she blew us away. It was no doubt that she would land a role in Hollywood soon enough, she has now been cast in Ms. Marvel!

Even though the management is yet to give us more details about Nimra Bucha’s role in Ms. Marvel, they have announced joining Vellani and Bucha, the series will also feature Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, and Travina Springer.

As previously announced, Ms. Marvel will be directed by four directors- Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah, Meera Menon, and two-time academy award winner, Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. It is said that Sharmeen has managed to rope in Nimra Bucha and cast her in Ms. Marvel!

Ms. Marvel is the story of a young Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), a teenage Pakistani American girl from New Jersey who is obsessed with Captain Marvel and struggles to fit in her new environment due to her shapeshifting abilities. “Iman Vellani as Kamala will be seen as a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. She is an avid gamer, a great student but Kamala has a special affinity for superheroes – specifically Captain Marvel,” said the writers of the masterpiece in a short snippet.

“However, Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school — that is, until she gets superpowers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life is easier with superpowers, right? But that’s not it,” they added.

Now that Nimra Bucha has been cast in Ms. Marvel, we’re excited to see how she executes this role and what character she will be playing!
