Pakistani Celebrities Pay Tribute to Heroes in COVID-19
Pakistani celebrities are paying tribute to the heroes, who are working tirelessly to fight COVID-19 by performing a rendition of Yeh Watan Tumhara Hai.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, every Pakistani has been trying to help the nation in any way they can, especially the celebrities. From donating to charities, to entertaining the people as they are self-isolating, they have been doing all they can. This time, Pakistani celebrities are paying tribute to the heroes, who are working tirelessly to fight COVID-19 on the frontline as well as the essential workers, by performing a rendition of the iconic song Yeh Watan Tumhara Hai by Mehdi Hasan.
A new composition for the track was created by Shany (Naqash Haider). The collective effort included several people from the entertainment industry.
Celebrities that performed Yeh Watan Tumhara Hai include:
Adnan Siddiqui (who played the flute), Ahsan Khan, Asad Siddiqui, Asma Abbas, Anoushey Abbasi, Faysal Qureshi, Gohar Rasheed, Hira Mani, Hassan Hayat, Imran Abbas, Kinza Hashmi, Nimra Khan, Omer Shahzad, Sadia Khan, Shany Haider, Salman Saqib, Yasir Hussain, Zara Noor Abbas, Zarnish Khan, Zhalay Sarhadi and Zubab Rana.
