Pink Donates After Recovering from COVID-19

After recovering from COVID-19, Pink has announced that she will be donating $500,000 to two emergency funds each in the USA.

Two weeks ago, singer Pink and her son, Jameson, were showing signs of being infected by COVID-19, and got tested positive, after which she decided to donate $1 million. Her family had already been sheltering at home and continued to do so at the instruction of their doctor, she said. They were retested a few days ago, and were negative.

It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible. This illness is serious and real.

People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor, and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities.

After recovering from COVID-19, Pink has announced that she will be donating $500,000 to two emergency funds each. These funds are the Temple University Hospital Fund in Philadelphia and the COVID-19 response fund run by the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles.

According to the Pink, she will be donating against COVID-19 at the Temple University, honoring her mother, Judy Moore, who worked at the hospital’s cardiomyopathy and heart transplant center for nearly two decades.

She also asked the people to stay at home, as the next two weeks are “crucial”.
