Prince Harry, Meghan’s “Archewell” gets Targeted

The pranksters targeted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Archewell Foundation, with reports surfacing that its domain had been redirected to Kanye West's Gold Digger on YouTube.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had recently launched the website for “Archewell”, their new non-profit brand. The couple’s statement clarified the connection of the non-profit’s name with their son Archie’s name – while the names may be very similar, the actual inspiration for Archewell comes from the greek word Arche, which means source of action.

The pranksters targeted Archewell, with reports surfacing that the website’s domain had been re-routed to Kanye West’s Gold Digger on YouTube. However, now the redirect was unavailable and the website only shows error. West’s video on YouTube has been flooding with comments from people about being re-routed from archewellfoundation.com.

The couple are also under fire for the timing of their announcement. While the world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems the Archewell announcement from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came on the day UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was admitted to ICU.

The couple has stated that further announcements will be made later when “the time is right”.
