Priyanka speaks out against the article calling her marriage a scam!
These claims are rather absurd tbvh
Magazine, The Cut, recently published an article questioning whether Priyanka and Nick’s relationship was genuine and further accused the Bollywood superstar’s love of the American singer to be a scam.
Written by comedic writer Mariah Smith, the article came off as racist and in very poor taste, targetting PeeCee as conniving and presenting Nick as an oblivious boy blindsided by his love for her.
Family and friends of the couple, particularly Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, immediately stood up against these allegations and shamed the publication for publishing such a piece.
This is disgusting. @TheCut should be ashamed to have someone write such evil words. What Nick & Pri have is Beautiful Love. Thank u, Next. https://t.co/G3hvXmhm9O

This is wildly inappropriate and totally disgusting. Very disappointed that The Cut would give anyone a platform to spew such bullshit. https://t.co/iYKaifKJP6

Even other celebrities like Arjun Kapoor and Sonam Ahuja were enraged by such an inappropriate article.
I know @priyankachopra personally & I’m fairly certain @nickjonas hasn’t been kidnapped & forced into a union of love… @NYMag u have an unhappy opinionated racist frustrated journalist who’s gone on n on about 2 people who by choice have gotten married. Tacky n uncouth writing. https://t.co/ngLvyqw6fD

For a publication that “shows women’s what they are made of” @TheCut has a lot to answer for . The article on @priyankachopra was sexist , racist and disgusting. Also it’s written by a woman which is so sad. It reeks of envy and bitterness. @mRiah shame on you! https://t.co/bmbbX7LrAT

Somebody legit had the nerve to suggest that Priyanka Chopra, star of a dozen Bollywood mega-hits, is a social climber for marrying Nick Jonas, star of Camp Rock 2. https://t.co/dlktqBAftr

If the ages been reversed, this article wouldn't exist. This isn't the 19th century. Nick, 26, isn't a child. Priyanka, 36, didn't have to trick him into anything. This piece's culturally ignorant of Indian nuptials & deliberately dense about celebrity weddings. What's the point? pic.twitter.com/yAzX69mmUm

However, Priyanka decided to take the high road by merely stating, “I don’t even want to react or comment. It’s not even in my stratosphere. I’m in a happy place at this moment. These kinds of random things can’t disturb it.”
More power to you girl!
