Saba Qamar And Bilal Saeed Set To Appear In Court
Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed will be making their appearance in a Lahore court after being booked for inflaming religious sentiments.
Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed are set to appear in court on the 14th of October.
The pair will be in court to contest the case filled against them last year by the Akbari Gate Police.
As a part of the music video for the song ‘Qabool Hai’, they shot a nikkah scene at the Wazir Khan Mosque.
The video went viral all over social media and sparked massive controversy particularly among religious groups.
Many felt that the video defaced the sanctity of the mosque and was highly disrespectful to Muslim sentiments.
In response to the controversy, both Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed had apologized to the public.
The actress and singer were filled under Section 295 of the Pakistani Penal Code. An arrest warrant was issued against both parties by the court after they had failed to appear in court.
However, the arrest warrant was cancelled and both parties had to each pay a bond of 30,000.
