Snyder’s Cut for Justice League is Releasing Next Year
#ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement started around the release of Justice League. The movie had been directed by Zack Snyder, but he had been replaced by Joss Whedon, who is known for directing The Avengers.
Since the release of Justice League in 2017, fans have been asking Warner Bros Pictures to release the version of the film that was directed by Zack Snyder. Now it seems their wishes have come true – the Snyder Cut for Justice League is being released next year on HBO Max.

The news was announced by Zack Snyder himself when he was taking part in the live video conference commentary for his Superman film Man of Steel. He later tweeted on the topic too:

Snyder also stated, “I want to thank HBO Max and Warner Brothers for this brave gesture of supporting artists and allowing their true visions to be realized. Also a special thank you to all of those involved in the SnyderCut movement for making this a reality.”
#ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement started around the release of Justice League. The movie had been directed by Zack Snyder, but he had been replaced by Joss Whedon, who is known for directing The Avengers. Whedon was credited as the co-writer, and oversaw extensive reshoots, editing and visual effects.
Snyder had stepped away to be with his family after the death of his 20-year-old daughter. However, he was still credited as the sole director of Justice League. While the film was considered a failure by some, many maintain that Snyder’s cut would be better.
By 2019, two of the stars, Ben Affleck (who plays the role of Bruce Wayne aka Batman) and Gal Gadot (who plays the role of Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman) joined the movement as well.

The Chairman of the Warner Bros Pictures, Robert Greenblatt, remarked in a statement, “Since I got here 14 months ago, the chant to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut has been a daily drumbeat in our offices and inboxes. Well, the fans have asked, and we are thrilled to finally deliver.”
