The Friends Reunion Is Coming Soon
After many rumours and speculations, it has finally been announced that the highly anticipated Friend's reunion episode might air in April of this year.
Ever since the rumours first started, people have been waiting eagerly for when the Friends reunion special will air. The sitcom which ran for ten seasons has been considered one of the best shows of all time and has had a tremendous impact on global pop culture. Friends has helped turn the cast members into superstars and have helped catapult their careers to new heights.
As a matter of fact, the final episode of Friends was viewed by fifty two million people and was the fourth most watched show in American television history. Now sixteen years later, Warner Bros are in talks with the cast of Friends for a special reunion episode that is expected to air in April of this year.
Speculations have arisen that the cast of Friends will be paid around two to four million dollars each for the reunion episode. However, Warner Bros have not confirmed these speculations to be true. The special reunion episode will be aired on HBO’s streaming platform HBO Max. The streaming platform has acquired the rights of all ten seasons of the highly popular sitcom from their steaming rivals Netflix.
While on Netflix, the series was the second most watched show on the platform in 2018. With the reunion episode expected to come out in April of this year, it has been estimated that the total expenditure on the entire special episode has been somewhere around 20 million dollars.
