Unilever Pakistan and Ismail Foundation have come together for the greater good of the community.
Both organizations have signed an MOU that seeks to combat water borne diseases in communities that lack access to clean water.
This is a massive milestone in helping to improve the overall water quality in such communities. One of their initiatives involves setting up a RO plant in Rahim Yar Khan to help provide residents with clean water.
Through such initiatives, both companies stride to help improve the overall quality of health in such vulnerable communities.
When asked about such initiatives, the Chairman and CEO of Unilever Pakistan Amir Paracha claimed that it is important to tackle the such pressing issues urgently.
Ismail Foundation had already set up a water and sanitation logistics project that works on improving water quality in the country. In fact, this project would be overviewing the establishment of the RO plant in Rahim Yar Khan.
Both parties maintain that in order to improve the water quality in the country, both the private and public sector need to work together hand in hand to resolve the matter.
