Unity Foods Presents Sunridge Chakki Fortified Atta
Sunridge Chakki Fortified Atta by Unity Foods is pure and contains vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin B12, zinc, iron and folic acid.
On August 22, Unity Foods presented their new variant of flour called Sunridge Chakki Fortified Atta at Sunridge Flour Mills, North West Industrial Zone of Port Qasim, Karachi.
Unity Foods is the first local company to introduce fortified flour in the market – it was launched in line with the government’s food fortification program against malnutrition. Sunridge Chakki Fortified Atta is pure and contains vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin B12, zinc, iron and folic acid.
To produce the flour, Unity Foods has brought in Swiss technology called PESA Mill. This is the first time this technology has been brought to Pakistan, and it will ensure that the flour is free of dust, bacteria and chemicals.

In a demonstration, it was shown that Unity Food’s Sunridge Chakki Fortified Atta is so fine that nothing is left in the sieve. This happened during a tour of the facility.
The Guests of Honour at the ceremony included Moulana Bashir Ahmed Farooqui Patron of Saylani Welfare Trust, Abdul Rasheed Jan Muhammad Chief Executive Officer of Westbury Group of Companies and Aqeel Karim Dhedhi Chairman AKD Group as the Chief Guest.
