Utah: Five-year-old Caught by Police While Driving to California
This young five-year-old boy named Adrian belongs to Utah. He set off to buy himself a Lamborghini after his parents refused to get him one. However, he ends up getting a Lamborghini ride offer.
A five-year-old was pulled over by a traffic police officer in the US. At first glance, the officer mistook the child for an impaired person driving. However, it was revealed that a young kid was driving the vehicle. This incident occurred in Utah and was reported by the Utah Highway Patrol. The boy told the officer that he was travelling to California to buy himself a Lamborghini after his mother refused to get him one.
The Utah High Patrol tweeted the incident:
“He decided he’d take the car and go to California to buy one himself. He might have been short on the purchase amount, as he only had $3.”
With only $3 in his pockets and dreams filled with riding a Lamborghini, this five-year-old kid set off in his parents’ SUV, all by himself. According to the reports, the kid was being watched by his older sister the morning he left on his journey. His older sister fell asleep and the kid took this opportunity to take the keys and drive off to California.
His sister told news channels:
“I saw that the truck was gone, and he was gone, and the keys were gone. I don’t know what went through his mind.”
However, he had only crossed three to five kilometers when he was stopped by a trooper. It was quite shocking for him to find out that a five-year-old managed to drive an SUV this far, that too all by himself. The incident was reported to the child’s parents and no one got hurt and no property was damaged.
Ever since this news went viral, the five-year-old Adrian Zamarripa has been getting offers from many Lamborghini owners to ride their car. The family is deciding what to do with all the offers as the response is overwhelming. They have accepted one offer but there are many more coming in. Many Lamborghini owners stepped up and provided Adrian with free rides after seeing this young kid’s dedication. Everyone now knows the young boy from Utah who set off to buy his dream car.
