Wasim Akram Wants Fawad Alam in the Second Test

Wasim Akram recently gave his opinion on the lack of Fawad Alam in Pakistan's cricket team, as well as on Azhar Ali's captaincy.

One of the most famous Pakistani cricketers, Wasim Akram, wants Pakistan to include Fawad Alam in the second test match against England. The second test will be held in Southampton and will be starting from August 13.

“In the next match, you won’t find a turning wicket. You will play with one spinner and you will have to play with an extra batsman,” Wasim Akram mentioned while giving his opinion on the next match. He added, “If I were the captain, I would include Fawad Alam in the middle order.”

Wasim Akram blamed both the batsmen and the bowlers for the defeat in the first test match against England. “We committed many tactical mistakes while bowling in the second innings,” said the Sultan of Swing.

“Two senior batsmen, Azhar Ali and Asad Shafique, didn’t perform with the bat. The team’s morale goes down if your senior players don’t perform.”

The former cricketer said that if Azhar Ali does not perform well in the test, then PCB needs to consider their options. He further stated that Azhar needed to improve his body language and communication skills.
