Samsung introduced the app Hand Wash to encourage the users to wash their hands regularly. To use it, you require a connecting Galaxy Watch, Gear or Fit.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic became public, we have seen decisions from Samsung that encourage hygiene – one such decision was the Galaxy Sanitising Service. However, as the medical specialists are now telling us to focus on washing our hands to protect ourselves from COVID-19, Samsung introduced an app called Hand Wash to encourage the users to wash their hands regularly throughout the day.
The Hand Wash app has the following features:
- A wash timer of 25 seconds and vibration feedback to ensure a proper hand wash
- Customisable reminders to wash hands throughout the day
- Notifications to remind you in case you forgot to wash your hands
