27th February – Surprise Surprise
It has been year since the 27th Feb incident, which left India in shock and made Pakistan even more proud of their country.
Who isn’t aware of the 27th February 2019 incident? Not only did Pakistan Air Force bring down two of the Indian fighter jets, they also caught one of the Pilots. Abhinandan, the Indian Pilot, was handled with care and respect, although he was one of the enemies. Nevertheless, the Pakistan Army offered the young Pilot Pakistan’s specialty, tea, which showed how welcoming we are as a Nation. Regardless of how Pakistan treated the enemy, Abhinandan was reluctant to give any personal information. Which the whole of Pakistan later obtained from Indian News Channels, who were actually giving out the whole information on Abhinandan, unintentionally.
However, the day showed what Pakistan Air Force is capable of. When on one hand, all IAF could do was, bring down some trees. There, on the other hand, PAF actually did something productive. Regardless of the fact that Abhinandan was released a few days after 27th Feb, the Indians knew what Pakistan was capable of.
Both the PAF Pilots, Leader Squadron Hasan Siddiui and Wing Commander Nauman Ali, have been awarded over their brave actions on the day of event. Here is what they said over this.
Today, Karachi hosted a air show to recall what happened one year prior to this day. There were many people who gathered at Sea View Karachi, to reminisce the historic events of this decade. Just for the sake of it, the day is being celebrated as ‘Surprise Day’ in Pakistan.
Pakistan never wants war. Pakistan is a peaceful country, but if someone invades it, they will have it from the security forces. That is what this day tells to the rest of the world.
