Continuing to quote his thoughts over this matter, he tweeted that he stands by what he said earlier and finds it loathly to use someone’s ill health as a “Paid ad elections campaign”, a strategy to gain sympathy and votes.
#KulsoomNawaz Yes i tweeted this be4 elections & i stand by it. Its disgusting to use ur wifes illness in PAID ad election campaigns to gain sympathy. Sorry for sounding insensitive at a time of grief for Sharif Family but propaganda against me on my tweet by PMLN is disgusting! pic.twitter.com/QfXirt5ax3

This is not the first time Maan Mayal actor has faced the backlash by the social media users. He has forever been on target for his daring and simple remarks over different issues.
From commenting on the “item numbers” to be a ‘shameful act’ in Pakistan Film Industry to gushing his thoughts over ‘Reham Khan’s autobiography’ and raising his voice over ‘Ahmedi issue; Atif Mian’ he has forever voiced his opinions.

I m one of those who condemns this discrimination. I also want to add tht this is not a purely "injustice to minorities" issue. For majority of Pakistanis, they consider Ahmedis "Imposters in Islam" & not a religious minority like Christians/Hindus hence the severe reaction! pic.twitter.com/iGeIcNVYhM
