Pakistan has a list of women who have accomplished quite a lot and have inspired many others to do so. Here are 5 women who have made a mark in the world.

Women like Malala Yosufzai, Benazir Bhutto, and Asma Jahangir have made quite a mark in Pakistan as well as the world. The list of successful Pakistani women is quite a huge one and it just shows that women are no less than men. The resilience and passion these successful women show have inspired many.

On the day celebrating all women throughout the world working hard and tireless in a male-dominated society, these women deserve special acknowledgement and honour.

Maria Umar 

Maria Omar, the creator of “The Women’s Digital League,” is a brilliant name on the list of entrepreneurs. She works as a teacher in a public school. After being denied maternity leave, she quit. Maria explained ” Later, I began writing for another lady I met through the popular employment portal “Rozee.pk.” The employer’s account office was discovered as a result of one thing leading to another. She soon realised she could contact clients directly and better assist herself. There is where the basic content production enterprise began. She created her own oDesk profile and took over some of her family’s freelance copywriting. It evolved into what we now refer to as “The Women’s Digital League.” The firm gives an opportunity for all educated young women to work in the digital realm. Purpose of providing technical services for individual and business clients, the company extended to the Digital Alliance, Pakistan’s digital workforce platform.

Moneeza Butt

Moneeza Usman Butt is a star in the auditing field. She is a partner with KPMG Pakistan, one of the world’s largest audit and consultancy organisations. She began her career with KPMG in 1996 and in 2000 became a chartered accountant. She joined the business as a partner eight years later. She was the first-ever woman to become a director in one of Pakistan’s main four accounting companies. She told Images that chartered accountancy had been predominantly a male-dominated sector and that she used to stand out like a sore thumb in team and boardroom settings.

Muniba Mazari

Muniba Mazari, Pakistan’s only wheelchair TV host, is included in Forbes’ 2016 Marketing and Media category 30 Under 30. Mazari has always been a voice for women, men, girls, and boys across Pakistan when it comes to women’s inequality and discrimination committed not to give up and conquer challenges. She was named Pakistan’s first goodwill ambassador by the United Nations Agency for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women’s Agency) in December 2016.

Roshaneh Zafar 

The Kashf Foundation’s executive director is Roshaneh Zafar. The organisation teaches and subsidises women who labour in rural regions in order to help them better their financial status. She attended Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He formed the Kashf Foundation after quitting the World Bank. The Kashf Foundation is a nationwide initiative that spans KPK, Sindh, and Balochistan. The organisation focuses on providing microfinance to small enterprises and female-led entrepreneurs, and it offers a value-driven answer for households in poverty-stricken areas. The organisation is well-known for its exceptional service, and Roshaneh Zafar is its sole virtue. She is a big believer in women’s strength and gives them every opportunity for advancement.

Momina Mustehsan

Momina was chosen as the 40th alumni from Stony Brook University under 40 and also was suggested as a public servant and activist in the fourth category of individuals under 40 under 40 in 2018. In 2015, Momina received her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics from Stony Brook University. Momina has previously been named on the BBC’s 2017 worldwide list of 100 important and startling women for her public statements on themes like cyberbullying and despair. Momina Mustehsan, a singer and social activist, became an instant sensation after performing alongside Rahat Fateh Ali Khan on the Pakistani singing show Coke Studio. This singer made use of her celebrity and social media presence. Momina was honoured as a 40-year-old woman at the 44th Annual Conference Gala. The most attractive alumni (among the 40 graduates of Stony Brook University) is under the age of 40.
