Actress Nadia Jamil Diagnosed with Breast Cancer
Veteran actress Nadia Jamil revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer via Twitter. She added that she has been in recovery for 4 days now.
Due to COVID-19, we are slowly starting to get used to the negative news around us. However, we were still not ready for it when veteran actress Nadia Jamil revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.
She took to Twitter to announce her ailment, and added that she is 4 days into her treatment so far:
Its stage 1 breast cancer/grade 3 tumour.Regular self checks are important ladies!Please act fast if you feel any abnormalities. Do NOT ever ignore your body,your health. I now await my surgery date & am feeling positive & loved. Please dont worry & take good care of yourselves❤️

“In the last few days I have felt all sorts of feelings, from apprehension, fear, unbeatable love to calmness and acceptance. Patience, overwhelming gratitude and a deep sense of responsibility towards my children, parents, loved ones, myself and you.”
Furthermore, she ended her tweet with a message to all women to not ignore their body and to act fast if they feel any abnormalities.

Symptoms of Breast Cancer
Ladies, please keep a look out for the following:
- A breast lump or thickening that feels different from the surrounding tissue
- Change in the size, shape or appearance of a breast
- Changes to the skin over the breast, such as dimpling
- A newly inverted nipple
- Peeling, scaling, crusting or flaking of the pigmented area of skin surrounding the nipple or breast skin
- Redness or pitting of the skin over your breast, like the skin of an orange
