AJK Elections: PTI Won, PML-N and PPP Rejects the Results

AJK elections were held in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and few districts of Pakistan. PTI took the lead, PPP and PMLN accused the election to be rigged.

On Sunday, the most awaited AJK election in Azad Jammu and Kashmir was held and several violent outbreaks between party supporters were also experienced during this election.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secured 25 seats and won the elections. However, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) bagged 11 seats, and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PMLN) obtained only six seats. All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference (AJKMC) and Jammu and Kashmir People’s Party (JKPP) only obtained one seat each.
