Ali Zafar Recorded His Statement for Five Hours in Court on Monday
Meesha Shafi and Ali Zafar's case has been going on in court, Ali gave his statement in a five hour long session.
Ali Zafar recorded his statement in court on Monday during a five hour long hearing of a defamation case filed against Meesha Shafi. Meesha Shafi had accused Ali Zafar of harassment after which Ali responded and filed a defamation case.
In his testimony, Ali Zafar mentioned that all these allegations have caused him emotional and financial damage. He claimed that his reputation had been damaged and tarnished due to which he had to suffer. He asked Meesha to submit proofs of harassment and asked her to tell him when he harassed her.
Ali Zafar demanded an apology from Meesha and he submitted recordings and messages that he sent her. He said that it was surprising for him when Meesha accused him of harassment. Meesha mentioned all the occasions where she said that Ali harassed her such as birthday party of Ali Zafar’s brother-in-law in 2015 and his wife’s birthday party in 2016. According to Ali, Meesha had attended both events with her husband and met Ali in the presence of many people.

He submitted pictures of the events to the court. The court adjourned the hearing until July 3rd.
