Aseefa To Be The Chairperson of Youth Wing
The PPP has been planning to include Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari into their party. She is now being inducted as the chairperson of the Youth Wing.
The younger daughter of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari is being inducted into the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). She already portrayed her political abilities and drive in her first formal public appearance at the Multan rally of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in November. She is now being prepared for playing a more active role in the Peoples Youth Organisation.
Along with Aseefa, former PPP general secretary, late Jehangir Badr’s son Ali Badr, and ex-federal minister, late Ahmed Mukhtar’s son are also being inducted into the PPP’s youth wing with several responsibilities in the following months. Similarly, fresh young faces will also be introduced in Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapters of the wing.
Meanwhile, PYO Central Punjab president Zohaib Butt has submitted his resignation letter against the provincial leadership for not arranging a meeting of the wing’s office-bearers with PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. He stated that not a single meeting was scheduled with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the last three years despite several pleas. PPP General Secretary Nayyar Hussain Bukhari has accepted the resignation.
Bilawal is currently leaving for Lahore today, December 19 to attend the wedding of former Punjab governor Latif Khosa’s daughter on Sunday, December 20.
It is now only a matter of time till we see Aseefa officially join the PPP.
