Asim Azhar’s Iconic PUBG Anthem Has Set The Bar High
Closing out 2020 with a bang, Asim Azhar has released his much teased PUBG anthem Khelta Ja. The bop also has a music video featuring live-action players.
While 2020 hasn’t been such a great year for us, for Pakistani singer, Asim Azhar that hasn’t been the case entirely. He recently released his much-awaited PUBG Anthem, Khelta Ja after teasing the collaboration for a few days with the hashtag ‘PUBGMobilexAsimAzhar’ before its official release on Thursday, December 24.
Khelta Ja comes with a fitting music video that features famous Pakistani YouTuber and gamer, Ducky Bhai (Saad Ur Rehman) and other live-action players including model Khushhal Khan who made his debut into the field.
Asim Azhar has also released two singles, Tum Tum and Soneya that garnered much mainstream success along with the PSL 2020 anthem, Tayyar Hain, with Ali Azmat, Haroon, and Arif Lohar.
Asim Azhar also references the ban on PUBG in one of his fire verses. He spoke against the ban previously. In a series of tweets directed towards PM Imran Khan, the singer asked the authorities to lift the ban which led to the hashtag #ImranKhanPUBGKholo trending on Twitter.
The action-filled music video has already surpassed 400,000 views within such just two days. Khelta Ja is proving to be another huge success in Asim Azhar’s career and closing out his 2020 garnering success.
The idea is very different from the generic Pakistani music videos and has been executed very well by Asim Azhar and his team. It has definitely set the bar high and is bringing a range of diversity into the field. Not a lot of Pakistani musicians have combined gaming and music into one so Khelta Ja is definitely a unique production.
