The latest amusement park to open its doors in Karachi is situated in Askari and it is one of the biggest amusement parks,built on 30 acres of land.It is situated on main university road,near the old sabzi mandi.
The entry fees for the park is priced at 60Rs/person.It is free for children below 2 years of age.
Askari Amusement Park is Karachis first international standard approved amusement park.The main attraction for many visitors is the grand ferris wheel named Karachi’s Eye,there are many other rides present too which are getting flocks of people to visit this park from every nook and corner.
The prices for each ride differs,there is an array of rides present which includes both, indoor and outdoor facilities for rides and arcade games.The prices range from 50Rs-300Rs.
When the park was inaugurated initially the prices were much higher,but they had to be reduced because of public pressure which demanded the prices to be set at a nominal rate.
The park is allowing entry for families only,they have a strict ”No stags allowed” rule enforced.The operating hours are from 3pm-11pm.
