Atif Aslam Makes It To The Top Of The Most Streamed List On Spotify In Pakistan
Atif Aslam has been once again proven to be one of the most loved and listened to the singer in Pakistan. Spotify has released its top lists in Pakistan.
Atif Aslam has not only stolen our hearts but the first place on The Most Streamed list on Spotify in Pakistan as well. Spotify’s top most-streamed artists’ list was revealed recently to celebrate the 1st anniversary of its launch in Pakistan.
Spotify has been the heart of the audio entertainment industry internationally but when in February 2021 it was launched in Pakistan along with Bangladesh and Srilanka the Pakistan music industry saw quite a boost. Along with this boost, the artist and the streaming site itself benefited quite a lot.
In the revelations of top streaming, artists list Talha Anjum, Talha Yunus, Young Stunners and Shamoon Ismail were also in the list below Atif Aslam in the Spotify top streamed local artist list. The top artist list also contained famous international artists like Arijit Singh, The Weeknd and BTS. In the top breakout artists’ lists were the names of Faraz Haider, Danish Roomi and Umer Anjum.
Spotify also released top local songs list with Asim Azhar and Zenab Fatima Sultan’s song “Ghalat Fehmi” from the movie Superstar. With Young Stunners “Gumaan”, “Afsanay” and “Don’t Mind” and Hassan Raheem and Abdullah Kasumbi’s “Aisay Kesay” following behind.
It has connected Pakistani listeners to local and international artists and given a platform for local singers to grow and share their music. Spotify has also curated local playlists for Pakistani listeners like Hot Hits Pakistan, Pakistani Rock Hits, Pakistani EDM 10, Dream OSTs, and Load shedding Longings.
