Pakistan Vs Australia: A Historic Cricket Series For PCB Starts Today
Australian Cricket Team is back in Pakistan after a 24-year long interval and the enthusiasm of Pakistani cricket fans is unmissable.
After a 24 year interval, the Australian cricket team is returning to Pakistan to play the first match today at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
All players of the Pakistan Cricket Team are in the T20 format, as PSL just ended a few days ago which may give the players trouble playing the first few matches of this test tournament. This fact was neglected by the Pakistani cricket team captain, Babar Azam, in the virtual conference yesterday.
Babar Azam stated “We are professional and aware of the hectic schedule. Some of our batsmen stayed busy training for Test cricket in Karachi and even have trained hard here during the last few days.”
In a press conference today, Hasnain showed his appreciation to the Australian cricket team and board. He also expressed his excitement and spoke for the Pakistani cricket fans who have been waiting for this for a long time.
CEO of the Australian Cricketers’ Association, Todd Greenberg, also applauded Pakistan and the Australian team for their hard work. Chief Executive Officer of Cricket Australia, Nick Hockley, expressed the motivation of Australian players have increased after seeing the enthusiasm in Pakistan and showed appreciation for the warm welcome and top-notch security they received upon arriving in Pakistan.
Australian Cricket Board were planning to select a heavy bowling team for the test matches which shows that Australians are all game for the series and quite serious about it. In the past, Australia has won 33 out of 66 matches against the Pakistan cricket team.
Pakistan is planning to use Muhammad Wasim Junior alongside Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah in this match series.
