Did Disney’s Tangled Predict Coronavirus?
Is Disney trying to beat the Simpsons? Or is Tangled just a coincidence? We'll leave that on you to decide but don't get too tangled up in the conspiracy!
We all know about Simpsons being the show that predicts the future. The Fox series has been known to predict many events such as Trump being elected at the President. However, this time, Disney’s animated movie Tangled is getting all the attention. The movie was released in 2010 and tells the story of a young princess who is locked up in a tower situated near a city called ‘Corona’.
As odd as it sounds, the princess had magical healing powers in her long blond hair. She had been locked up in that tower for 18 years. Well, doesn’t it sound like we’re all in a Disney movie right now? We’re practicing social distancing and many of us are in isolation. The coronavirus has spread to most of the countries by now making us all trapped in our homes, just like the princess?
It could be a coincidence but conspiracy theorists have a different perspective. Some of them even believe that maybe it was all planned. You can find more about the theory in an article we’ve previously published. Anyway, Twitter is going crazy over Tangled conspiracy for the past few days.

Corona is an island kingdom and the birthplace of Rapunzel in Disney's 2010 animated feature film, Tangled.
After a significant period of isolation it is also where Rapunzal met her future husband/prince.

Coronavirus has affected over 200,000 people and more than 10,000 deaths have been recorded. Jokes apart, you should practice social distancing and self-quarantine. By doing so, you’re not only saving and protecting yourself but also everyone else.
