Their huge army of fans have showered these Korean singers with immense love by supporting them at every step. Dynamite by BTS has set a new YouTube record of the most viewed video in 24 hours.

Dynamite by BTS has crossed over 98.3 million views in the 24 hours after it went live on YouTube. It beat the old record of Blackpink’s ‘How You Like That’, which had managed to get 86.3 million views in the first 24 hours two months ago. Also, the achievements did not stop here. Dynamite hit the no. 1 trending spot on YouTube globally within the first twelve hours of its release.

For all of you who’ve by any chance not watched the video, which has a whopping 127 million views, here’s a link below:

YouTube has recently changed its methodology YouTube Music Charts in September 2019. It no longer counts paid advertisement views in 24-hour counts. This means that it’s all authentic and there is no tampering done with views that reflect the real numbers of fans engaging.

However, this isn’t the first time a BTS video has been trending. Prior to Dynamite, BTS held the YouTube most viewed video in 24 hours record for ‘Boy With Luv’ featuring Halsey. It managed to get around 74.6 million views in the initial one-day period back in April 2019.

According to a press release, the song aims to bring joy and happiness during these challenging times of COVID19 by focusing on the little things in life. The message they’re giving is what we all need right now, a surge of energy that’s there and reminding us to stay positive. BTS is known for producing content that is not only lively by also full of energy. Their choreography and acting is always spot on.
